About the Work

This piece for mixed choirs with divisi includes and is inspired by text from Psalm 139. The writer of this Psalm brings into focus the great, boundless knowledge of God and His understanding of our humanity. He knows every part of our being—our thoughts, burdens, and joys. The piece begins with the acknowledgment of the omnipotence of God, while the latter half of the piece centers around mankind's thankfulness to God as the Creator.
